As the Churchville-Chili Central School District remains closed to students, families, and staff, we want to share important reminders. Some informational items can be found on the subpages to the left or by clicking on the topics listed below. We are also updating the related documents and links below as needed.
Instructional Delivery: Each teacher has set up a Google classroom with a link to our online learning resources. Students are enrolled in the Google classroom and may use this platform for some of their classwork. Non-digital resources have been provided for Kindergarten students via regular mail.
Special education and related service programming will be provided through accommodations and modifications provided on each teacher and/or provider’s Google classroom. When necessary, instructional materials may be sent home via regular mail.
Additional resources for learning activities can be found here.
Healthy Hygiene and Social Distancing: As a reminder, exposure to COVID-19 can occur from person-to-person contact. We encourage students and families to continue taking steps to minimize the spread of all respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19. This includes limiting time spent among groups of people, such as gathering with friends or in groups of any size, as advised by the State. The Centers for Disease Control advises that this can help minimize the spread of illness. If you have any concerns about your child’s health, we recommend that you contact your medical provider.
Safety and Wellbeing: All mental health staff will be available for crisis counseling and will maintain a level of connectedness with current students through phone, email or other digital options.
During these uncertain times, the Safe School Helpline utilizes a unique, automated service that allows callers to report a concern 24 hours a day, seven days a week, confidentially and anonymously if they choose. You may call the Helpline at 1-800-418-6423 extension 359 or text “TIPS” to 66746.
