Micro Granulated bauletto The beading, or micro granulation, is a still mysterious process of the Etruscan art of metal work. This earrings are inspired to a modular necklace that I had the luck to see (and photograph) in a restaurateur laboratory in Florence. Found in the San Sepolcro area, are dated around the IV Cen B.C. and are now part of a private collection. |

Disc earrings The decoration on this earrings is very intricate and elaborate. If you imagine that this decoration was made with the finest gold twisted thread, that was finally put in position and somehow soldered to the base, in a way that is still a mystery, you get the feeling of how good the Etruscan were in the art of Jewelry making. The original comes from the lower Etruria, dated VI Cen B.C., and are now set in the London, British Museum. |
