The Sun of Tarquinia - it represents the sun - is a famous pendent that was found in one of Tarquinia's many tombs, it is dated VI Cen b.C.

Etruscan Bangle Pendent

A very important pendent, a double horn, that surrounds two spirals connected to one flower each, that converse on a palmette motif. From the flowers two chains that hold a three flowers motif, below each flower stands an acorn.
The original comes from the Vulci area and dates IV Cen b.C.
This pendent is part of a private collection in Rome.

Turan Pendent

This is a pendent that was symbolizing the family life. There are three figures, the one in the middle, dressed with a Kiton, is Turan -the Etruscan Aphrodite- she hugs with both arms two naked men, the one at her left is her lover Atunis -Adon- the one at her right, winged, is her son Eros.
The original comes from Vulci, dated 350 B.C.

Sphinx Pendent

This is a wonderful piece that take inspiration by a fibulae found in the area of Cerveteri, dated VII Cen B.C. The sphinx is a design that testify the Etruscan passage thru Egypt in their pilgrimage, later the Etruscans will call it Chimera. The tradition relates the sphinx to Intelligence and wisdom.
The original fibulae this pendent takes inspiration from is displayed in Rome, Villa Giulia Etruscan Museum.

Round filigree cross

This is an extremely interesting piece that was found in Veio tombs dated V Cen B.C. If you think that this decoration was made with the finest gold twisted thread, that was finally put in position and somehow soldered to the base, in a way that is still a mystery, you get the feeling of how good the Etruscan were in the art of Jewelry making.
