The Tufa stones

The Tufa works of Pietro Gurrado are renown and really appreciated in Italy, and lately also outside of it.
The material he use is the Tufa stone that center Italy is so famous for. During the Etruscan civilization and all the Medieval times, this was the most used ,material to build with. Pietro now decided to combine the traditional figures of the Italian rural culture, with the brightness and softness of the Tufa stone. The result is a dreaming memory...

The statues are painted with very soft natural colors or naturally finished.

We do not carry large stocks of Pietro Gurrado statues, we ask you to be patient if what you like is not available at the moment, Pietro will make a new one within a reasonable amount of time you.

Each statue is signed by the artist.
